Ferro Electronics Ltd was established in 1988 by MELCOM Enterprise for Microelectronics Ltd. and after a short period of operation it was sold to Ferro Techniek Holding BV (www.ferrotechniek.com) seated in Holland. In April 2006 Ferro Techniek Holding BV was purchased by Otter Controls Ltd. (www.ottercontrols.com), so together with it Ferro Electronics Ltd. came under English ownership.
